Unlike tours which involve driving, Miquel's tour to the volcanic park included lots of walking (and climbing, in the case of our girls). Unexpected extras included visiting two well-preserved Middle-Age villages, learning about 700 yrs old Jeweish sites and eating at an authentic rustic restaurant. Miquel has lived all over the world, so his perspective as a native of Girona/Catalonia is very unique.

Miquel was an excellent guide to our family of 10. He was personable, patient, and outgoing. He took us to some hidden gems in both towns, arranged for a lovely lunch, and just gave up information about his home which he clearly was very proud of. Excellent way to get to know a new area.

Miquel guided our group of 6 friends on a fantastic day trip from Girona to the Costa Brava, including some medieval towns along the way. Miquel was engaging and interesting from the very beginning of our tour. His suggestions for stops and sights to see were perfect. Miquel was charming and funny and kept us all entertained the entire day. We felt like we were hanging out with an old friend. We would not hesitate to recommend Miquel for any Girona or Costa Brava touring.
